Brief introduction:
Monel 405's the free-machining version of Monel 400 with a controlled S added to provide sulfide inclusions that act as chip breakers during machining.
Its other characteristics are essentially the same as those of Monel 400.
It's used for meter and valve parts, fasteners and screw-machine products.
