Brief introduction:
ERNiCrMo-4 (equivalent to C276) is used for welding materials with similar chemical composition and dissimilar materials such as nickel based alloys, steel, and stainless steel. This alloy can also be used for cladding steel of nickel chromium molybdenum welding metal. The high molybdenum content provides great resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion.
This filler metal ERNiCrMo-4 can also be used for dissimilar material welding, surfacing, and cladding between nickel based alloy C276 and other nickel based alloys and stainless steel. Sometimes also used for welding of super austenitic stainless steel. Typical applications include pumps, valves, pipelines and containers in chemical plants, flue gas desulfurization equipment, and offshore equipment in oil and gas fields.
