Wasaploy(UNS N07001) is a precipitation hardening nickel based high-temperature alloy. It can maintain extremely high strength, excellent creep resistance, and outstanding oxidation resistance even at temperatures up to about 870 ° C. Through forging technology, its grain structure is optimized, resulting in higher fatigue strength, toughness, and overall structural integrity.
Main processing precautions for Wasaploy(UNS N07001) :
Hot processing: Forging requires high temperatures (such as 1050 ° C-1150 ° C) and requires significant processing force.
Cold processing: It is very difficult and requires intermediate annealing.
Machining: Similar to processing other high-strength high-temperature alloys, it belongs to difficult to machine materials. It is necessary to use equipment with good rigidity, wear-resistant hard alloy or ceramic cutting tools, as well as lower cutting speeds and appropriate feed rates.
Welding: Inert gas shielded welding (such as TIG) can be used, but post weld heat treatment is required to restore performance, and the process is complex, requiring careful evaluation.
