Ingredient of Invar 36 (4j36)
4J36, also known as Invar 36, is mainly composed of approximately 36% nickel, 64% iron, and small amounts of elements such as carbon, manganese, chromium, and copper. This alloy has an expansion coefficient of about 1.9 × 10-6/℃ between room temperature and 200 ℃, which is lower than most stainless steel and constantan alloys. It has characteristics such as abnormal thermal expansion, good plasticity, and corrosion resistance, and is widely used in radio, precision instruments, and other industries to make standard measuring tools, microwave resonant cavities, etc.
