Inconel 601 alloy (also known as Alloy 601 or UNS N06601/W.Nr. 2.4851) is produced by Special Metals Corporation, and its chemical composition mainly includes nickel (58.0-63.0%), chromium (21.0-25.0%), and iron (balance), as well as other elements such as aluminum, carbon, manganese, silicon, copper, and sulfur, which together give the alloy its unique properties. The density of Inconel 601 is approximately 8.1 g/cm ³, with a melting point range of 1320-1370 ℃. At room temperature, it exhibits excellent strength and good plasticity, maintaining high strength even at temperatures up to 1000 ° F (approximately 540 ° C). In addition, Inconel 601 has excellent corrosion resistance, especially in high-temperature sulfur-containing atmospheres, and can maintain oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1180 ℃.
