Hite Special Alloy has recorded the shipment of Inconel 718 orders, which is a very important nickel chromium based high-temperature alloy. It is favored in the industrial field for its excellent strength, excellent corrosion resistance, good oxidation resistance, as well as good welding performance and processability.
The chemical composition requirements for Inconel 718 specified in ASTM B637:
Nickel: matrix element (50-55%), chromium: (17-21%), iron: (balance), niobium: (4.75-5.5%), molybdenum: (2.8-3.3%), titanium: (0.65-1.15%) and aluminum: (0.2-0.8%), strictly control the content of impurity elements such as carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, phosphorus, copper, cobalt, etc.
Inconel 718 rings are commonly used to manufacture shells, flanges, pressure vessel shells, bearing races, and other rotating components.
