ASTM A182 UNS S31050 is a high alloy austenitic stainless steel forging with urea grade strong corrosion resistance and high temperature strength. It is a low-carbon, molybdenum nitrogen optimized version of 310 stainless steel.


Mechanical properties of S31050 (solid solution state, room temperature):

Tensile strength ≥ 540 MPa, yield strength (0.2%) ≥ 255 MPa, elongation ≥ 25%; Hardness HB ≤ 220, fully austenitic structure, ferrite controlled at an extremely low level (often<0.5%), good toughness;

Forged flanges, butt welded/socket welded fittings, valve discs/seats, bolts/nuts, integral forgings; Can be processed into components for various high-pressure and high-temperature corrosion conditions. The production process is electric furnace+refining (AOD/VOD) → forging → solution heat treatment → non-destructive testing (UT/MT) → machining.
