The commonly used grades of Alloy 825 include N08825, 2.4858, incoloy825, ATI 825, and NAS 825. The seamless alloy 825 tube is now ready, and we have made records of the inspection work and presented it in conjunction with the introduction of Alloy 825.
·Good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, spot corrosion, and crevice corrosion.
·Excellent antioxidant and non oxidative thermal acid properties.
·It has excellent mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperatures up to 550 ℃.
·Certified for pressure vessels with manufacturing temperatures up to 450 ℃.
825 alloy is a universal engineering nickel alloy with high resistance to acid and alkali metal corrosion in oxidation and reduction environments. The nickel composition gives the alloy effective resistance to stress corrosion cracking. It has good corrosion resistance in various media, such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, and organic acids, while alkali metals such as sodium hydroxide corrode, potassium hydroxide, and hydrochloric acid corrode solutions.
825 alloy is resistant to boiling sulfuric acid with a concentration of up to 40% and all concentrations of sulfuric acid with a concentration of 60% at temperatures within 80 ° C and 66 ° C. 825 has excellent corrosion resistance to different concentrations of phosphoric acid.
It has good corrosion resistance to solutions containing chlorides, pitting corrosion in seawater, and stress corrosion. In addition, it also has good corrosion resistance to intergranular corrosion.
The high comprehensive performance of 825 alloy is reflected in the diverse corrosive media of nuclear combustion dissolvers, such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and sodium hydroxide, all treated in the same equipment.
Like other nickel chromium molybdenum alloys, Alloy 825 has good ductility and can be processed using conventional methods. The Alloy 825 can use conventional processing equipment, but it may undergo work hardening. For heat treatment, annealing is performed at 950 ° C after processing, followed by rapid air or water cooling.
Alloy 825 is suitable for various harsh operating environments, especially for components in offshore oil and gas pipelines, refineries, heating coils, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and scrubbing towers. It also has potential applications in the food, chemical, and nuclear industries.
